Arts and Culture
Arts and Culture has been embraced by the Hunter region for decades, with Newcastle boasting the fully restored Civic theatre, that has been the scene of many national and international productions, plays and festivals.
Fine collections of art including sculptures, pottery, drawings, photographs and paintings are housed in a number of our galleries across the Hunter region including, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland.
The Hunter Community Foundation is another way for donors and benefactors to continue to support the Hunter region across all forms of art and culture.
